Apparently the city will be getting a new Mayor for a few hours on Sunday. I wonder if he will support measure V, hopefully not, and how he feels about the police and their pay increase, should other services be displaced Huell? Maybe he can do something about those boarded up buildings in the downtown?
There will be a big party where you can meet him and ask him all those questions and maybe get on TV! The culmination of a whole year of parties, no wonder there has been no time to do anything productive!
If you are there at 4:30 you can be part of the "All community Photo" that will be taken. I hope they check I.D. to make sure that no non Sierra Madreans are included in that picture, that just wouldn't be fair now, would it!
Hmmmm.... I think he is a little cuter than Enid, no offense intended mayor.

Can't wait!
I have an inside scoop from the Centennial closing event/picnic planning meetings. This should be a great event.
The amount of people in town that it takes to put something like this together is a great representation of Sierra Madre's community spirit. I hope to see everyone there.

this was the best day! i still can not get over how Mr. Huell spent time and spoke and took pictures with every single person!!! it was crowded and just a blast. make sure you all thank judy webb and toni buckner PLUS all the city hall employees that came in on their day off. such a great day....
Anonymous--I agree with you. The Centennial committee and other volunteers, organization and city employees did a great job.
Check out Huell's acceptance of Mayorship here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25Kwa_Ad7Ns
Anonymous: Didn't you mean to say "Mr. Howser?"
Using "Mr." followed by the person's first name makes you sound a bit like Tatoo from the "Love Boat."
you should read the new repsonse about Brad Baxter
