Why would the Glendale councilman spill those beans?
South Pas is another city that hired an assistant to the city manager (NOT an assistant city manager) to be its next CM. The learning curve is very steep: so steep, that you can stall and go into a free fall very easy (picture Chuck Yeager in "The Right Stuff," when he took his experimental jet straight up into space, stalled it, and went into a death spiral).

As of Wednesday morning at 9:00, it appears that the City Council has NOT selected its new City Manager.
