My latest source tell me that our kewpie Police Chief is about to depart. So much for "Chicks in Charge", maybe she doesn't like the idea of a woman for a boss. Negotiations are taking place with a Captain at another foothill agency, salary too low in the SM. No kidding! So what have you heard?
So is it me, or does it seems like this City just can't hang onto its senior staff for very long. Wonder why?

I suspect it is all the pictures of her drinking vino with Jimmy Snider. It is just not the sort of image a person in such a position of trust needs to project.
Aye, 'tis a problem. The smaller the community, the more passionate the citizenry tends to be, and the harder a place it can be to work. Maybe the pay scales ought to be inversely proportional to the population??
